I'd like to dedicate this one to my good friend Bobbi Lane, a) because it was taken during our recent Faces and Places workshop in Oman, and b) because she's having a harder time than she deserves. Here's hoping for a brighter tomorrow.

I work with this simplicity all the time, very well done Dave, this is not easy to pull off. BTW good luck Bobbi I hope things turn around for you whatever you are going through.

All my best thoughts to Bobbi.
and cudos to David for another exceptional B&W conversion/post-process. I love the almost reversal of tones in the sea-foam and sky. well done.

Fantastic! You are the master of seascapes. Tones and lighting are perfect.
It seems a lot of people are having a more difficult time than usual during this year. Hang in there Bobbi.

Really an amazing transformation of an otherwise ordinary sunset shot!

Great conversion! And what a dramatic shot anyway. But you certainly emphasized all that drama perfectly.

I want to know if this translate to print? Nice!
Really like this one. The layers are stunning, as is the monochromatic presentation.
Really amazing shot! Even after black&white the color contrast is so good.
