This is a second shot of the wrecked boat I posted on Wednesday, and while it's not as abstract I do prefer it. Let me know which of the two you like best.

My sixth Creative Workflow tutorial is now live: a 50 minute walk-through/analysis of the Omani seascape I posted earlier this week. If you're not familiar with my Creative Workflow tutorials (part of our online Photoshop tutorials), take a look at the following link for further details:

Now I much prefer this shot too, I definitely think it's because of the wonderful cloud detail that's been captured in the reflection and how the processing has drawn that out.
Though I don't much like the buildings on the horizon on the left of the shot, I find them a little distracting from the rest of this beautiful shot.

Variation on a theme by Nightingale... love it. Hmmm... I like this one because I find the reflection of the sky in the water to be so interesting... or is that the nature of the water itself? Either way, a beautiful image. The ship looks like a derelict satellite floating above the earth...
Hey, I had not been here for a few years :). Good to see you are still posting wonderful shots as well. The 'show the original' feature is nice, but what do you consider the original as you cannot show the raw? How do you process it into a clean jpg?
Cheers Harry

I prefer this one to the previous one too. But both are excellent. It's probably my bias toward color.

Perfect color treatment. Like this one better.
Such a beautiful shot!
amazing just like the previous ones.
Cool done!
Construction as if floats above the clouds
Great composition and post-processing
Both are quite good, but I think I prefer the mood of the black and white better!
Peronally I find the wreck a bit distracting , I see a cartoon mouse or hamster standing on a church steeple. It reminds me of the graphic novel Maus.
I love the the clouds almost translates into oil in the water here1 beautiful stuff.
wow ... love the reflections .... that wreck seems lt's floating in space ...

Wonderful Shot, the reflection of the sky in the water looks so beautiful.
