This year's GPP training event has now finished, and I'm off to Oman on Tuesday to run a Faces and Places workshop with Bobbi. GPP, as always, was a fantastic event, and I'm really looking forward to going back to Oman, but it's nice to have a few days off too. I won't be doing much tomorrow – other than catching up with email and a few other jobs that have been rather neglected over the last few days – but did have a fun day today.

It started with getting up at 4.00am, which wasn't too great, especially as we were up in the Vista Bar (at the Holiday Inn) until after midnight, but it was worth the effort as we were heading out for a one hour balloon ride across the desert to witness the sunrise. The trip was fantastic – I haven't flown in a balloon before – and I think I've got at least another five shots I'll post from the trip. This one seemed like a logical place to start, taken just before we took off.
