In my initial review of the Sony SLT-A99 I mentioned that I'd be writing a follow-up post about its dynamic range and high ISO performance. In the meanwhile, here's a shot that was taken a couple of hours after my previous entry. And no, that's not a typo, it was shot at ISO 10,000. The original is noisy, made worse by the fact that I added a strong S-Curve, and I did run some noise reduction (but not much). The key thing though is that the shot is definitely usable.
