When I run my Landscape Photography workshop for GPP there are a few set shots that I teach my students, one of which is how to shoot silhouettes: in terms of composition, exposure, and so on.
In November, while we were working through the technical aspects of the process, I mentioned that it would be great if we had someone jumping at the top of the dune, at which point one of my students said, "I'm a dancer. I could do that". We got some great shots :)
