I've run my Gulf Photo Plus Landscape Photography workshop about eight times now, and most times we head out into the desert, photograph the dunes, the sunset, some silhouettes, and so on, and then head back to Dubai. Occasionally though we stumble across something a bit more unusual. For example, one year we found an old rowing boat, and while this year's incongruous item isn't quite so out of place - a burnt out car isn't quite as unexpected as a boat - it was worth stopping for.
