I took this a couple of days ago and don't have much to say about it other than that I really like the reflections of the clouds and sky in the lettering (which is part of a sign for a car-dealership which looks as though it's made from polished steel).

On a side note: I recoded my entire site today, mostly to make creating new entries a bit easier, so if you notice anything amiss please let me know. At the moment the main archive page and the monthly and category archives aren't working properly (I'll sort these out later today) but the main pages (including the thumbnails page and comments popup) all seem to be fine in Safari and IE (for Mac) and IE6 (for PC). I'd be really grateful if someone could let me know if everything is working in IE5 for PC as I've had problems in the past and can't check it myself.

i like that kind of contrast. Getting that kind of contrast is more that your canon G5 can make. mabye it comes from your own ability. it's cool shot!

My first real job was in a 3-D animation shop. We were having a terrible time rendering believable-looking metal objects until we realized the obvious fact that polished silver objects aren't silver... they're the exact color of whatever is around them. Seems sort of silly, but it was a big breakthrough for us. LOL. Sorry to ramble, your beautiful pic just reminded me of that time in my life. :-)

Ah, cross browser testing. Such a necessary evil. You site works fine for IE6 and Firebird 0.8 for PC. On Opera 7.23 for PC the archive pages are a little goofy, but everything else checks out okay. Check out iCapture (http://www.danvine.com/icapture) - it's a service that lets you see how your pages will look on Safari, and now ieCapture (http://www.danvine.com/iecapture) to see how your page will look like on PC browsers - IE 6.0, 5.5, 5.01, 4.01, Firefox 0.8, and Opera. Enjoy!

I agree with Drew. I do not see your thumbnail image on your XML feed. My FeedDemon shows just the text and no image anymore!:-(

As far as I'm aware, both news feeds - index.rdf and index.xml - are now ok and both include the same image that appears at the top of this popup. I know that it works in NetNewsWire Lite (for Mac) and Bloglines seems ok, but if it isn't working for you could you let me know which news reader and/or web-based service you're using and I'll look into it.

Thanks.
