I know I've said this before, and it hasn't happened, but over the next week or so postings may be haphazard, or even non-existent. I'm away for part of next week, we're still trying to arrange a moving date, and other than a few shots still on my CF card (that may or may not be any good) I've totally run out of stuff to put up. I may manage to take some shots over the next couple of days, but this time I suspect I just won't have the time.

Anyway, it looks as though we may now be moving on the 5th July, but I'm really not holding my breath as this would require a group of solicitors to actually speak to one another and agree something. And as we can't even get hold of ours on the phone it doesn't seem all that likely. My advice: don't ever move house, it's ridiculously complicated and stressful :-(

As for this shot: it's the last one from when I was away and I nearly didn't put it up as I'm not convinced it's all that great. I do quite like the image on the stairs, and the fact that all three people have the same stride pattern, but I don't think it's particularly wonderful.

I think this photo is quite good. Confusing at first, then hillarious, then you think "good job David".
Or something like that.

And you should not be stressful about not posting for a couple of days.
The world wont end if you don't post everyday! And your visitors wont go away either.
Good luck with the moving. Seems like you need it.

This image jumped at me, I think I do agree with you though...I think something technically is wierd about this shot, or perhaps the lighting(?) but something is up....But this is one of those shot you HAVE to post just cause it is so cool/wierd/comic/interesting. Thanks for posting it for that alone!

To me this is sort of a picture within a picture within a picture. At first I thought it was a billboard changing; then I saw the stairs; and it wasn't until I popped open the comments window to say 'interesting shot' and started reading that I saw the boot on the right -- which made me look at it yet again and all I can say is once again you amaze me with what you find! With respect to the move -- I feel for you -- it's one of my least favorite things to do -- but once it's done and over with hopefully the stress will have been worth it and you'll be glad you did! =)

I thought it was a billboard at first too, but nice work getting more than one picture in one picture. I agree that the content of the picture could improve but the overall idea and framing of the shot is great!

Damn, wonderful photo. But what's up with this whole stairs covered as advertisement deal? A metro station in Copenhagen has an add for Spiderman 2 made the exact same way.. Only there's something on both the flat and vertical part of the stairs.

A very well seen image. Well done, and definitely one of your best.
Did you have to wait very long for this combination?
