This shot was taken at the same time as thesetwo but, for some reason, I didn't look at it at the time. It's the opposite end of the building to this one, and in many ways I think it may well be the best of the three. Let me know how you think it compares.
Beautiful, with the sky in background, the lighting and the detais of the building, I could easily imagine this to be a photo of a space station in Earth's orbit.

Wonderful angle! Combined with the geometries of the building this image gives a real sense of vertigo. I agree with the comment that it could be of a space station.

There is no questioning the coolness of these shots, but for some reason this building completely freaks me out. I'm a migraine sufferer... maybe that it? Certain patterns and things just make me feel... nervous kinda. Then you throw in a skizzy angle and a dramatic sky, and you are really messing with my head.
Which of course is not a criticism. Hey, art should affect people right? :-)

On another note: on Ryan Flynn's recommendation I took a look at a marvelous site today – Plateaux, by Markus Schafer. It's definitely worth a visit: I particularly liked this shot and this one.

If I had to choose one, it would the filtered black & white - although I too experienced the 'other-worldliness' of the latest posting:
HAL: Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?
Nice work!
Persian Students: I wish that I'd thought of that but I have to say it never occured to me. I can see what you mean though.
tiffany: my apologies. I agree that art should cause some response but totally freaking someone out is probably a bit excessive.
Fraxinus: I'm torn between this one and the black and white one.
The colors in this picture are just beautiful!
Wonderful shot, great composition and tones.
