Well, I was hoping for the definitive Christmas Day shot today but, in amongst three square miles of wrapping paper, three children (out of five) who weren't entirely well, and all the other excitement, it didn't happen ... so here's a silly one instead ;-)
I hope you're all having a great day. As for me I'm going to veg out with a beer, chocolates and the TV, and hope that I can stay awake until the kids go to bed :-)

One of you finest, Dave -- it's shots like this that make me so appreciate you work ... no one else in the entire world could create a shot like this - right? You're blessed with a wonderful family --- enjoy them...
Also -- enjoy your time off -- and that cold beer (lager :-) ) ... I'll be sure to take you out for one - maybe two - when I land on the other side sometime in the next 60 days!
Thanks for your inspiration and support throughout the year....
Enjoy!

I think you're going overboard with those ornaments. Love the blog. Have been watching for a couple of weeks and inspired me to create my own photoblog. Keep up the great work!

This silly picture really captures my eyes. The sepia tone adds so much colored simplicity, and the eyes, all four, look deeper than the burning sun.
