I had hoped to go out again this evening – while the moon is reasonably full – but it's been pouring with rain all evening, I'm knackered, and, to be honest, I'm not feeling overly inspired today. So here's a more conventional night shot, taken a little while after the previous two.

Cool shot. So far my favorite night shots are those that still show a reference to "night"

Nice Mate,

I like the warm color tone and the condensation on the windows.

What exactly is that? a slide in and indoor swimming pool or something?

I guess this is Happy New Year from me, have a good one!

I like the way it appears that you combined a number of smaller photos to make one big image, very intriguing...

Wicked color, Dave. Nice eye on this one. The grid makes it a very interesting composition.

Very chromasia.

I like what looks like steam on the windows. Looks very warm inside.

Well, I just posted my first 'night shot'.

I went to the nearest 'body of water', a little lake in a park about 1.5 miles from my house and snapped this.

It was exciting to see what I would get. I also found a lot of dust, hot pixels and the need to clean my sensor from taking this... time to clean some house.

If you find the time, I would love your thoughts on this David.

Happy new year!

Fantastic. I love the mood of this. Happy New Year, David! :-)

Any chance if you could include whether or not your shots were handheld? Obviously a shot that's 2s long is on a tripod, but it would be nice if others included that info.

Just wondering

Great composition!
I like the color, so warm in a night that seems so cold!

Is that an indoors aquatic park or am I crazy? Very apealling tones here. I like it.

And happy New Year. :)

I like this. The window panes make it look like one of those puzzles where you slide the squares around. I like the way the condensation softens and breaks up the glow.

This is great...it has an almost mosaic effect. I also like that some windows are clear and some are streaky. Another great night shot.

Dave, this is one of my favorites of yours. It's really splendid, the way it combines brilliance/dark, resolution/blur, and implicit hot/cold. I really love it -- and you know, I'm generally not so enthusiastic.

Have a happy new year!

Thanks everyone. And yes, this is an indoor swimming centre.

Have a wonderful New Year!

~OUTSTANDING work here, the control over the color and saturation is well noted...one of your best shots IMO, the visual impact alone makes a statement~
