When I came back from London on Monday I had a brief look through the 100 or so shots that I'd taken while I was away and reckoned that I probably had about six or seven that were worth putting up. Having had a closer look I think there are probably only three, maybe four, so this may well be the last one.

And my apologies if you've commented over the last four or five days and I haven't responded. I've been extremely busy and just haven't had as much time for chromasia as I would like.

Oh, very nice. This could easily have been a boring left/right mirror-type of shot but it isn't. That the subject and it's shadow do create the contrast, it's not immediately apparent to the eye that they are the same, but are complimentary. The arc from the spotlight prevents a shear straight shift from light to dark. Your eye for simplicity and composure win again!

Very nice shot although to fully appreciate it I think its best to view with the black theme. Strange how something so simple can have quite a stunning monochromatic effect ..

love it Dave, I am always drawn to your more graphic shots.

nice shot, that needs a bit of working out. through a little mist of drink, it reminds me a woman's torso in chicken wire i saw on a bar wall somewhere nice in london just north of green park. is it the same one?

I like how it is contrasting, the ligth and the dark. And the shape is very weird for an added bonus. I have to say though, was that wire a peice of 'modern art'?

great contrast and textures. it looks like a net-flower closer in the night and opened in the light of the day.

i love it. that's all i can say. except... I can also say that this really messes with your eyes and your mind, trying to figure out all the different things it could be. good work.

Thanks everyone.

justin: this was on a bar wall in London, but it's a man rather than a woman, and a whole body rather than a torso.

Jorge: well spotted :-)
