This is the last of the reflection shots I took the other evening and I have to confess that I'm not entirely convinced by this one. My wife likes it – and she's not normally wrong – and I think it would make an interesting print, but I'm not sure that it works all that well at this resolution. For me its worth lies in the fine detail, but the only way to see it at this resolution is to sit there with your nosed pressed up against the screen.
Oh, I don't know. Let me know what you think.

There is a little to much distortion for my taste. But the colors are very intriguing (the purple and yellow complement each other well). This "reflections" series was enjoyable.

Hmm, im not too convinced about this one either, i agree there is a little too much distortion so it is barely recognisable as anything really. It also seems a bit noisy compared to your other shots, or is that just a resolution thing?
Not the best reflection shot you have done, yesterdays was my favourite so far.
Just noticed, it looks like the building is actually being blown away by a hurricane or something which is quite cool.
well i have to admit that i like it,it kinda reminds me of one of salvador darli's paintings, but i think the reflections are very good, and i just find them pretty original and iteresting...so wot is the reflection of anyway??
Adam and Steve: I think that's what I meant about putting the shot up at this resolution - it lacks detail and anything recognisable. That said, the "being blown away by a hurricane" effect is one I quite like too.
Steve: the version that's up now is less noisy.
jamie: thanks.

My first impression of this was post apocalyptic destruction. Very powerful.

Am I the only one to say that even with your nose pressed against the screen you cannot get 'fine detail' in this photo? And if you have to search THAT much for something worthy to look at.. what's the use of it? Can't make excuses for a misfire sir.. :)
The first one of the series was the only one that deserves credit, in my opinion.
Also, you said "Wy wife" ... Unless the W was meant to be a 180° rotation (just like this photo).. but then you could've said Wh .. or something :)

At first it did not seem to be a reflection. To me it seems like a desert picture with mirage effect. I like it.

"Holy canoly!" was my first reaction...I haven't seen your other reflection shots, and I have no clue what this one reflects, but it would make an amazing poster! I really like its visual effect on me and am quite alright not knowing what it is. It's half the fun of looking at it.

I don't like it either. Too blurry, and nothing compelling to the eye.

I absolutely love this. The colors are fabulous and I love the distortion. It looks like an abstract painting. I dont need to see the detail - it the overall effect that makes this so great.

three in a row is a bit much.
im really not liking these last 3 shots. but hey... every other picture is mind blowing so that makes up for it haha
J'aime trop toute cette série de photos "tremblotantes"
qu'il y a en ce moment..
OK, a mixed reaction to this one then ;-)
