This is the last of the 'autopilot' entries as I'm back tomorrow evening. Hopefully I'll have managed to find a bit of time to take something worth posting as I have absolutely nothing else stashed away that I'm happy to put up.

Great detail in the wood.I like the contrast of color and B&W.
Good one.

How interesting! I loved the fade in the back, and also the great detail of the wood in front. This is a nice photo for symbolism. By looking at the great patterns and prints on the wood, what do you see?

Hi chormasia...
Hey hey, looks like a hat....
Very nice, and blur effect to the stones...good aperture man!

sorry if this sounds lewd, but the curvy lines in the wood and whatever that thing is sticking out make me think of a breast and nipple. very pretty shot.

I like the beach work. It's nice detail. However (and I'm sure you already know) I also could go for some variety hopefully soon...

Wow, that is a crafty way to use the depth of field... At 5.6 you are already loosing focus on the rusty bolt which does not seem that far. Interesting that the left side of the picture is "black and white" and sharp; while the right side is color and blurry.
I made an impromptu visit to Blackpool on Monday - my word it was cold and wet!

Very nice... almost symmetrical moving towards asymmetry!

Hmmm... feels like two pictures to me. Can't seem to stick the two together ;-)

nice wood texture, but the sense of depth would be improved if the rusty knob was in focus. the b/w versus the color causes a visual seperation that make the photo feel like two. good photo, but you've done many much better

Agreed - bring the rusty knob into focus and it 'sticks together'. But hey ... talk is cheap. I can only hope to shoot so well myself.

I seem to do better with pictures than with words. I am happy to see this image. It is the kind I take. I am glad someone else does it also. Thanks.

Nice abstract shot!
Dare I say nipple?

Nice abstract and intresting shot!
Interesting colour/B+W effect, good detail in the wood too, not your best though by a long shot.
Lovely composition and texture.
