I was going to put up another shot that I took on the same trip as yesterday's image but I was out again last night, this time with John, Paul and Ioannis, so thought I'd put this shot up instead (this is Paul). John has put up a shot of me, taken at around the same time, but Paul and Ioannis haven't put any of theirs up yet.
Oh, and four photobloggers being in the same place at the same time in the northwest of England is, as best I can tell, a new record. I know it's nothing to brag about by US standards, where all major cities now have marauding hordes of them, but it makes a pleasant change over here ;-)

Dave, I'm torn on this one. I like the understated colors in John's shot of you, and when I first opened yours I thought it was too "pushed." But, now that I look at it some more, I like the colors in yours. Maybe they're a *tad* pushed, but I still like them. Could've gone either way on this one. I like.

Dave, these colours are amazing, and if you want to top the record and make 5 photobloggers in the Northwest i have asked Paul to give me a shout next time you lot go out and i will see if i can make it. I only live in Liverpool so it shouldnt be too hard for me to get up there.
At first, Paul's tripod looked like chair legs to me. After reading the description... I still prefer to think of it that way: someone out at night, admiring the sunset in a chair on the beach. Yes.

Well that's a beautiful palette. The man at right makes the photo, that way it isn't just another shot of a sunset.

I like how you captured a fellow photographer's almost rivaling attempt to better absorb the beauty of the moment.

Wow! A Texan stands(sorry sits in awe)..... I only thought I'd recently taken some nice sunsets/sunrises? I hope to learn from a sharing person (such as you) how to improve (deep in the heart of Texas) photos! Thanks for allowing us into your passion(which undoubtedly is overshadowed)by the wonderful gift you have in your beautiful children. Thanks for allowing the objects of your affection to be a part of your photographic heart!

Wow, I've been coming here a while now, and this one takes the cake. Incredible colors. And at 10 at night, lucky northerners ;)
Well, David, I didn't think anything could top yesterday's, but this certainly does. Beautiful picture.
beautiful sunset. there is a black dot just above the horizon on the left - any idea what that was?
Mother Nature sure knows how to put colors together. Wonderful capture and presentation of a beautiful scene.
Jason: yep, it's great at this time of year. Mid-winter, on the other hand, is an entirely different matter.
owen: it's a bird, or rather it was: I've cloned it out.
Yeah, we're everywhere over here in the U.S. ..... Nice colors.
Amazing! I love the intense colors in this scene... it is truly beautiful!
