Title • Roland GI-10
I took this last month as part of a commission to photograph the 'fuse units' in Bolton; a set of offices and studios that support the creative arts within the town. This one, as I'm sure you can see, is an area within their music studio. Not the most riveting blog shot, but a) I'm short of material to put up at the moment, and b) would like to include some sort of documentary of the more 'work' oriented photography I do as well as the creative side. Ideally, I guess I'd be happy if there were no difference between the two – i.e. my creative work was indistinguishable from any commissions I might do, but a brief to shoot a location is not the same as having a free hand to produce creative and innovative work. That said, I guess that I can work towards closing the gap between the two.
