This was shot during a recent one-to-one training session on long exposure landscape photography, but given the waves, the foam, and the general moodiness of the scene, I couldn’t resist taking a normal exposure too. I love the sea.

And in case you’re wondering why the original image is so flat: there was a lot of spray in the air, most of which ended up on the front of my lens 🙂

    Sea Drift

    Shot back in 2012, this was a long exposure taken just after sunset. As you can see, if you take a look at the original, I processed this one to bring out the detail on the horizon and in the rather unusual clouds.
