Wake and Waves

This is another shot from our recent Venice Carnival Photo Tour, shot on the way back from Burano. It’s not a striking image – in the sense that it doesn’t have a great deal of immediate visual impact – but I was drawn to the symmetry, and that one bright splash of water tracking across the waves.

I don't expect much of a response to this one, but there was just something I really liked about the design of the different elements in relation to the red ring of the stop sign. Satisfying.

Really like this image the breaking wave really makes the picture, black and white conversion works very well here.
